Suppose that $a$ and $b$ are nonzero real numbers, and that the equation $x^2+ax+b=0$ has solutions $a$ and $b$. Then the pair $(a,b)$ is

  • Reduce fractions to lowest terms and enter in the form 7/9.
  • Numbers involving pi should be written as 7pi or 7pi/3 as appropriate.
